Notes:  We did not realize how damaged this holder was when it was photographed and it will be going back to PCGS for another round of pictures and a new holder.  But many details can be determined from these pictures.

The color on both sides of the coin are in the same range with green and orange dominating.  The orange color is in the second cycle of toning, and the emerald green in the third cycle.  We also believe this is bag toning, or storage issues where many coins were stored together.

We see so many coins with clear date doubling that it is somewhat unusual to see a normal die, but this is one for the obverse.  The reverse also appears to be free of doubling, but we will reserve final analysis for a better look through a clean holder.

There is a group of die cracks that run across the eagle's head and continue down the outside of the left wing.  A secondary die crack runs through the first letters of LIBERTY and this is also a common area of failure in the die.
