Notes:  This coin shows sufficient wear and just enough detail that we think the grade is about right.  Lee's leg, arm, and coat detail are all gone.  Jackson's face is partially worn away and the stars are starting to fade.

The reverse really shows the design flaw in Borglum's design with the detail starting to wear away on the lower left.  LIBERTY is all but gone except for the ER and the rims are starting to blend into the fields.  Also the long dedication motto is no longer readable.
