Notes:  In our opinion two things speak to this coin being toned and not damaged.  First, the parallel lines on Traveler's hind quarters appear to be bag contact and not a fingerprint.  And second, the rich colors around the horses heads are thin and translucent even though dark.

The coin has good detail which is more visible when you drop out the color, but the lack of eye appeal would have knocked the grade down a little for us.

But on the reverse the color helps highlight the detail in the eagle.

We would not attempt to identify any die cracks on the coin because of the toning.  It is just too disruptive to the analysis.
