Notes:  This coin has the right detail and clarity of fields to meet the MS65 ranking.  But it also has some distractions in the discoloration on the obverse and what looks like a sticky substance on the reverse.  The obverse also shows some heavy polishing lines in most of the field area.

The reverse is worth a moment or two because it is a great teaching tool.  After spending some time studying the coin we believe this is a great example of a coin that has been "struck through grease."  This occurs when grease is left on the die by the press operator and the grease interferes with the flow of metal when the strike occurs by the press.  The areas of damage can be quite unpredictable and where the grease adheres to the finished coin the edges can appear to be die cracks.
