Notes:  The prominent feature on this coin is the double/triple F DO on the reverse.  This has become a relatively common feature.  On this coin it is also accompanied by a slight doubling of some of the letters in the memorial.  The reverse die is heavily pitted and has a somewhat familiar set of die cracks that run across the eagle's left wing and the head.

On the obverse there is some date doubling but the coin has just enough wear that we are reluctant to call this a double date.  There is some tough wear for an AU58 with a chunk out of the rim in several areas and a cut that goes all the way through the rim from front to back.  The obverse die is also heavily pitted.
