Stone Mountain
Commemorative Half Dollar

35594561

Details

PCGS Designation: 9873

Certificate: 35594561

Grade: MS64

Obverse Die: Doubled Little Sorrel

Reverse Die: Normal Die

Stars: 13/35

Notes:  The most unusual thing about this coin is the toning.  The coin has a verdigris appearance like an aged bronze statue.  It is unusual enough that we have no ideas as to the origin of the color and it is probably more discolored than toned.

It is a well struck coin with few features other than some heavy polish lines on the obverse and a very slight doubling of the face of Little Sorrel.
