Notes:  This is a well struck coin and retains a lot of detail for the grade.  There is excellent detail in the obverse devices with most of Lee's coat and left leg showing wear, but a lot of detail.  The obverse die does not show signs of doubling.

The reverse of the coin shows only minimal die cracking along the top of the wing, but none on the eagle's head or in the field.  The die has collapsed along the rim letters, but otherwise looks to be in good shape.  It is also possible that at this grade some lighter die cracks have worn away.

However, the reverse shows signs of die doubling on the right side of the memorial in a manner we have seen on other coins.
